We live in Buffalo, NY, so having a snow blower is almost a necessity. My parents needed a new snow blower and have a pretty big driveway and after looking at various models, settled on this one based on price. We've had similar machines in the past, a Toro and one from W-Mart. This machine works exactly like I expected it to. It will cut through most snow with a pass or two. It throws pretty far, and in regular snow it worked great. If you try most blowers in wet snow they will clog. I've used large ones and small ones and they all perform the same in wet snow. A couple things I do like: the electric start: makes it easy for my parents to start; separate gas and oil: I hated mixing them and then forgetting which can had which gas in it. I think it's a good machine for the price. If you want to clear your sidewalk or driveway with a little work, it does grab the ground, but it's not self-propelled, need electric start, then this is a good machine to work with.
