For a female purchaser, I found it not as easy as i expected to pull start from a cold start. I'm glad it has the electric start to help in that area. If i shut it off while using it and pull start it back it starts easily at that stage. The thrower shute does not turn very easily. I find i have to actually use two hands to turn it one on top and one towards the bottom. It doesnt swivel too well. I've heard of greasing it but have not tried that yet. I expected it to have been better being brand new. I have a extremely long driveway and it does a good job as long as the snow is dry. The slightest bit of wet and the chute gets clogged up. It does get all the way to the ground unlike others so that is also a positive feature. For the size and money overall it does a ok job considering the snow we get here in the midwest.
