I purchase the Craftsman 19.2 Volt C3 Cordless Combo Kit with RA Drill approximately a year or so ago for my company. We use it for many different types of jobs. It has been very reliable and is very powerful. We needed something that was versatile and reliable. This kit is exactly what we needed....

I wanted this kit with the lithium ion battery packs not the nickel-cadmium battery. Mysteriously the is not mentioned in your advertising or the on-line description at all. I read the description several times but the battery type was not mentioned at all! I was forced to purchase the drill kit and...

Craftsman 19.2 Volt C3 Cordless Combo Kit with... Reviews

Have never encountered more unreliable, inconsistent batteries. Purchased almost all C3 Cordless Tools, before discovering the Ni-Cd battery's abysmal survival rate. Out of six batteries, only 1 has survived. Most lasted only slightly longer than the 90-day warranty period. I should have read the reviews. Sears should also read them and finally take action to correct this problem. It has been reported in numerous reviews for several years. Yet, Sears appears to be unwilling to take any corrective action or even acknowledge the existence of an issue. Very Disappointing!

This was my first Craftsman tool purchase. As a lady, I feel the drill is a little heavy after holding it over head for a few minutes. I love, love, love the RA drill. It allows access to tight spaces and gives you every bit as much power as the standard drill. This purchase is definitely shortening that "honey-do list" that my "ex-honey" never got around to doing! Craftsman is all you need!

This 19.2 combo drill kit is just what I needed to assemble furniture kits my wife and I like to purchase. It sure is a time saver and saves my hands and wrists from getting overworked. The power and torque is more than enough for most all the tasks I encounter.

Craftsman quality comes thru and leaves the other brands in the dust for overall value. This sets a keeper.

Before purchasing the drill combo set I only owned a Dewalt 9.3 volt drill. It was good for what I was doing such as drywall and small jobs, but I needed something better for what was to come.

The new craftsman 19.2 volt drill is not only powerful, but it seems to do whatever I need it to do. The RA drill became very handy in my recent project, I needed it two separate times.

The biggest problem I had with my Dewalt dril was the amount of charge it kept, I was changing the battery in the middle of most of my projects. With the new Craftsman drill I used it constant for two or three days without...

Good.

I bought this combo because it was an excellent value for the price.  I use the 3/8" angle head drill to drill pilot holes and the 1/2" drill/driver to drill big holes or drive screws.  I think it is easier and quicker to swap the battery then change bits; that way I use one battery and have one charged as a backup.

Purchased this combo kit for my husband's Christmas gift and he loves it! The batteries are great and last a very long time.

About a week after I purchased this combo, the chuck started dropping bits. Not so good when you're using a hole saw to cut a headlight, the hole saw drops right into the headlight. It's also a little big and heavy, comparing to my current drills. I returned immediately for my money back after reading similar reviews.

Never had a problem with the right angle drill though.

Good Value

The price I paid is a good value, drill and RA drill with two batteries, charger and case for only $35 more than the price of two batteries and charger.  Very inexpensive drills.

I thought I just wanted a battery for a tool I received as present, and bought two batteries with two drills and a case.

Purchased about a month ago.  I work on vehicle electronics additions and this set will allow you to get about anywhere.  You know how difficult it is to work in and under the dashboard of your vehicle, well with these two drills you can do it without any problem.  Both drills have plenty of power and torque.  You can drill metal and wood.  If you have small spaces to do work in, the right angle drill works without a problem.  The batteries last a long time before having to charge and when it is time to charge, they charge quickly.

Great Drills

These drills are awesome.  If the driver is too big for a job I'm doing around home, the right angle drill will do the trick and still has plenty of power.  The batteries hold a charge for a good amount of time.  My only issue is that the bits provided with the drills get chewed up pretty easily, so I've already had to replace them.

I recently purchased these tools, and with arthritic hands the batteries on most drills are extremely difficult for me to remove from the tools. these tools are very easy for me to change batteries. and the charger charges all my other craftsman tools. finally some one gets it standardized.

thank you craftsman
