I got this as a package that came with 2 batteries. I would recommend getting a second battery if you don't have one. Works very well on most materials, has issues with thicker steels, even with really good drill bits.

I recently purchased a craftsman 19.2 volt drill. I am as impressed or more impressed than the cordless craftman 18.6 cordless drill I had for years. I believe I am looking forward to many, many of excellent servie as always from Craftsman and Sears Thank You

Very good, quality drill. Overall works well and has only one issue. The one issue is that the bit falls out when it is in reverse. But overall a high quality product for the price. Great for a DIYer!

After a motor failure in a C3 Drill/Driver, Sears would not stand behind the product. Because I did not have the battery with me, Sears refused to honor their warranty (the battery was fine - the driver failed!). Since the battery was at home up north anbd I'm now in FL for the winter, I couldn't bring it in with the drill. By the time I get home or get the battery out to FL, the warranty will have expired - catch-22! If I get no satisfaction, I will NEVER buy another Sears product and would encourage others to think carfefully when purchasing from Sears. Customer service is one of the few things I USED to think differentiated Sears from the rest. It now appears that's no longer the case, so why wouldn't I now just shop for price alone? Thanks for nothing, Sears!

This drill is the one you need for 95% of projects. Has some serious power especially for a cordless. Haven't used a Lithium Ion battery yet, but my Ni-Cad battery thus far has served well enough where I haven't ran out of power in the middle of a project. So, good battery life, good power, and decent weight. The grip and style of it suits me well and I haven't dropped it. Only when a knucklehead friend of yours tries to get all Wyatt Earp with the drill like its a Colt revolver does it get dropped... yet it still keeps on going.

Easy to use and adjust torque settings. The levels are always useful. Looks neat and sounds mean. Can't go wrong with this drill.

This product has a lot more power than I thought it would. This is my first cordless drill. From what I've seen so far, it beats using a corded drill hands down! I'll use this drill for every project from here on out. The battery power last long and stays strong.

I love this drill I have had this drill for sometime and never had a problem with it. I own 2 batteries and they both keep a charge for a longtime. I use this for simple drilling projects like building bird houses with my wife to using for framing and sheet rocking a new office study in my work space. No complaints on my end. You should enjoy this drill as much as I do! BTW I am not a professional handyman just a "handy husband" with a few man projects around the house, LOL!

The lithium-lon battery on this unit is strong, charges quickly & stays charged. With its light & heavy duty reversing 2-speed motor, this drills does it all & does it well. This drill came with a battery & charger which charges the battery super fast. All & all the best drill I've ever owned.

Bought this to finish off my basement. Approximately 30-40 hours of use over 3 years time. Used for drywall, framing, and drilling studs. Clutch stopped working rendering tool useless. Took back to sears store and told basically tough luck, out of warranty. Manager agreed that the tool was most likely defective, but he could do nothing for me. Called customer support - was patched to India and told tough luck they are not going to stand behind it. Craftsmen power tools only have a 1 year warranty - unlike the hand tools. Beware!!!

Bought this drill to replace my six year old craftman 16.8 volt drill. The drill fits in the hand comfortably and the chuck angles works well for hard to set screws. The 1/2 chuck is nice but I seldom use a bit larger than 3/8. The batteries charge quick and last a couple of full days before needing recharge. I like the bubble level on the back of the drill for drilling perpendicular. I would recommend this drill because the price is right, the drill works like it should, and it comes with two batteries and a quick charger.

I put this drill through it's paces! Everything from driving countless drywall screws to drilling anchors in the concrete floor and foundation! I never had a problem! Burned through masonry bits while getting this thing nice and toasty! Would recommend in a heartbeat!

I bought this about one year ago and it really has come in handy. I don't use it very often, but I like that it is always charged and ready and comes in it's own case with two batteries. Great, easy-to-use drill.

Although it's a little heavy, this drill works well and does a lot on a battery charge. It's ruggedly built.

It comes with a canvas carry bag and two batteries (the most expensive part), so it's a great value for $100.

I've had my C3 drill for three years and it has been nothing but great. The battery life is the best of any C3 items. I highly recommend this item bundled with a few others. I've yet to have any problems with this product.

I have the 19.2 volt drill, impact driver and flashlight and I have had them almost 2 years and I am very satisfied with them. I work at Pepsi Cola as a truck mechanic and I restore old cars and trucks and build custom cars and trucks for my boss. I use the drill and flashlight everyday and sometimes all day and they have held up very well. I think one of my batteries is going bad but considering how much I use them I am still happy with them. I have quiet a few tools and I would say that at least 90 percent of my hand tools are Craftsman and many of them are 20 plus years old. When I do have a problem with one of them they replace them with no questions. The local Snap On tool salesman comes by the shop and try's to sell me his tools but I always tell him that as long as Craftsman tools get the job done I will not be buying his very over priced tools. I have heard a local man say that when he bought a bad item from Sears he would quiet buying from Sears but he still buys from Sears...

I actually purchased this drill three years ago, just before the batteries were rebranded "Die Hard," but the drill is the same and the batteries are the same. I used to have a cheap corded drill with a single-speed motor, and a cordless drill that used two versa-pack batteries and didn't have any power. I got this to replace both, giving me power and portability.

The 410 in/lb of torque is enough for anything I, or almost anyone, needs to do with a drill. The batteries are great, as their run time is respectable and they can be used with a bunch of other 19.2 volt devices. I've used this drill to strip paint off of metal railings, drill holes into stumps for stump destroying chemicals, making holes in trash cans for water drainage, and probably a billion other things around the house.

Having spent a couple years in the Home Improvement section of Sears, I got to play with lots of tools, and few drills that are widely available can exceed this one's capabilities. I've even had professionals...

I bought on of these four years ago and love it. I have never had a problem with the batteries or the drill. I have 2 other Dewalt drills I have been trying to give away and can't. Just ordered another one today so I will have 2. I have used and abused this drill over the past four years and have never had it fail me. Have also used it to run a lot of 3 1/2" deck screws with no problem. Drill is a little heavy but at least the batteries are awesome and so is drill....
