“Battery life is shorter than expected”

Craftsman 19.2 Volt EX G0331 —

The unit is a bit heavy with the battery. Especially if you are doing shutter installations. If you compared this unit against a makita drill you would understand the reason behind a lightweight unit. When using it to install a raised bed with pre-treated lumber it does loose battery power because of all the low end torque on the unit. You must have additional batteries on hand to complete job. The craftsman 19.2v even with the lithium ion batteries do use a lot of power and additional chargers for those lithiums are pricey. The battery is useful in multiple accessories you can get from sears but as said for hurricane duties the battery does not last long.
