“Scatched Paint Job..”
Craftsman 2 hp Vertical Portable Tank Air Compressor, 33 gal. —
Been looking at this compressor for a number of years and finally pulled the trigger this weekend. It came with the ten piece pneumatic tool set, and got 10% off on top of that due to the on-line sale they were having. Around $308 total. I brought it home and did the break-in as directed. It was a little noisy, but not too bad. (Almost as loud as a gas mower) It reached 150psi after awhile, but cut-off there as it should. The tools work great and the 33 gal tank allows me to use my rachet and impact driver at full bore for a good while before the compressor cycles. (90psi) Overall rating I gave a 4 star due to the gigantic scuff in the side of the tank I noticed after I unpacked it from it's box. I figure that is a small price to pay for a decent compressor at this price. After reading some of these testimonials before making a descision to buy this, I feel darn lucky not to be having the breakers tripping, air leaks etc.. some folks are experiencing. I've always been pleased with Craftsman quality and reputation. To be continued......Craftsman 2 hp Vertical Portable Tank Air Compressor, 33 gal.
