Easy to adjust , rubber like handles, I didn't realize they were made in China however I believe they will handle my needs & the purchase price was fair .......

Craftsman Locking Plier Set, They work great. I use them to hold angel iron togethed when welding.

I purchased this Craftsman locking plier set to assist with taking off and holding stubborn bolts, nuts and a good firm grip. I have used these pliers a couple of times already and they work very well. I have a pair of ViseGrips but sometimes they would release unexpectedly when doing a job. The Craftsman seems to lock in place and not release, just as they should. These come in very handy when soldering copper pipe as well so you do not feel the heat. The set includes two plier sizes 10WR and 7R which is nice! I am sure that I will get plenty of use out of this set. It was great to see MADE IN THE USA!...

Great pliers and Craftsman like quality and lifetime warranty, the only negative is they are made in China, but the lifetime guarantee will cover any problems.

Since they are excellent quality, I will use them for years.

I bought these for my husband, for his birthday, he has been very pleased with this set. He was most surprised by the quality and the cushion grip handles. He has not had a opportunity to use them yet, but knows that this set will be very useful and with all Craftsman products are sure to be of quality workmanship.

The description is not accurate, these are made in China and are not the Professional version.

Buyer beware, the part number is the same but the items in stock were made in China.

I am ashamed to say that these Craftsman locking pliers are no good. Usually every Craftsman product lives up to its name, but these fall extremely short on quality.

The picture and description of this product is incorrect on the Sears website. You will not recieve a Craftsman Professional black and gray locking plier set, made in USA, you'll end up receiving a standard Craftsman red and black version, which unfortunately is now made in China.

During their first use my large locking plier fell apart, the spring mechanism broke and fell out. I can't recommend a product that breaks during its first use. Even with the lifetime warranty I would stay away from it.

These pliers are not only the best i've ever used but i also got them when they were on sale for $15.00. even though they say "China" on the side. their still covered by the craftsman name. and their still the best for the price. Thanks Craftsman!

I needed an extra pair of Vise Grips and picked up this set of Craftsman Professional Locking Pliers. I really like the cushioned grips on the handles. They make the pliers easy to handle versus the bare Vise Grip handles. I had no problems adjusting and locking these pliers on to a variety of objects.

I bought this set and went back and bought the 3 piece set also! These are great locking pliers and they have saved the day so many times it is ridiculous. Having extra sets of them really helps when clamping things down. If you zoom the photo Sears has posted they are stamped with "made in USA" on them.

These pliers are well made and are comfortable in the hands when applying pressure. They are also easier to release when taking them off of your work piece. I just wish that they were made here in the U.S.A. Otherwise they are quality locking pliers and they should be given consideration when looking at this type of plier. They are an even better value when you can catch them on sale.

I always buy the best tools possible(like Craftmen).For everyting i do or need always look for the best.Have some old"Craftman-tools"that still do the joib.I was very happy to hear they had these tools and other Craftman on sale.

I love these things! The design is perfect! If you have used vice grips in the past you know how they get bound onto a part and you end up busting your knuckles getting them off. These eliminate that problem and are much easier to release. Another reviewer complained aobut the 7R's and while agree they aren't the most versatile jaw shape they do have their place in the tool box and there is another set of the same design and size but with a curved jaw. I highly recommend that set as well! I threw away my old vice grips and replaced it with these in every size/jaw shape available... worth every penny! You can find cheaper vice grips but these because of their design and construction will outlast anything else I've used. A+...

I give them a 3.5 These are fine for most applications, but I don't like the way the 7R pliars are designed. It makes them only useful for Bolts because of the square design. They don't feel as solid or sturdy next to the ViseGrips and the Craftsman set is more money. I also seem to get a tighter grip with the ViseGrip. For the money they don't seem to match up... Pros: Nice handles No more pinching Strong hold Easy to use Cons: High price Square design on 7R is akward...

These are awesome locking pliers!!! I got them as a gift a couple years ago and I am very happy. I have been using a different brand with the standard "release lever" for years and I will never go back. They are really easy to use and have the usual Craftsman quality. Highly Recommended!!...
