Craftsman 20 gal. Wet-Dry Vac, 6.5 Peak hp —

After only four months of normal use. The motor burned up! Since the warranty is good for only 90 days. I had to throw out. The vac worked great before then.

I hate to say this, but you threw out a warranty item! The warranty is not 90 days, It comes with a 1 year replacement Warranty!
