When we purchased our home in Aug, 2006 there were no signs of any water problems in the finished basement. That all changed in the nor'easter of April, 2007 when we came home to a steady trickle of water coming through the foundation. The Wet-Dry Vac purchased only three weeks prior to clean my work-shop... review »

The Vac overall worked great for 87 days. It has great suction ability. I personally really dont like things made wholy out of plastic and was skeptical at first when I purchased it. Then the motor started to cook itself on the 87th day of ownership. It started to smell really bad and was throwing small... review »

All I can say is WOW! Super powerful, lots of attachments, runs fairly quietly with the muffler on. Cleaned my truck out, swept the shop and then blew off the driveway in half the time it took with my old vac. Handled woodchips, sawdust and sand with ease. The drain is a nice addition as well. For the price, you just plain can't beat this vac.

And that's why you buy one of these. The thing has more power than I've ever seen in a shop vac. Haven't had the greatest luck with shop vac brand so I thought I'd give sears a try after seeing the consumer reports review. I like the swivel on both ends of the hose. It has all the standard attachments. I've only used it on dry stuff so far but have not had any problems. It sucks up plastic sandwhich bags without cloging. Picks up 3/8 x 1 inch bolts just fine. Does great in the car and around the house. Got it on sale for $99 so not a bad price either. Great value. Only bad thing is it's kind of... review »

I debated if I needed the 20gal thinking, "when would I ever need that much capacity?" Well, our washing machine overflowed, wouldn't drain. The new vac with easily got all of the water out of the machine, and the squeegee attachment cleaned up the mess on the floor. Paid for itself right there. I highly recommend it! And the exhaust defuser works great! No dust flying around and makes it a bit quieter.

I have had this vac for several years and I am very pleased with how durable it is. I have a very wet basement, and I constantly use it to move water to the sump pump. I found a hose for a pool vac can be inserted into the drain hole for quick draining without clogging.

I have been using this unit for awhile now and it has great suction for removing saw dust, dirt, nails, and even vacuuming the car. Would be nicer if the attachments actually clipped or locked on.

After only four months of normal use. The motor burned up! Since the warranty is good for only 90 days. I had to throw out. The vac worked great before then.

The Craftsman Wet/Dry Vac does such an awesome job! I use it to vacuum my car, my cellar, and even to blow the leaves in the fall! It does such an excellent job for all my household chores. Also, with Craftsman, there's always a replacement guarantee. I would recommend this product to anyone who is shopping for a Wet/dry Vac-even better than the Shop Vac brand!

I bought this vac and had a flood about a month after it worked great to clean up and still worked even after getting very wet in the process of cleaning.

I operate and maintain a warehouse and the surrounding facilities. Heavy traffic makes it so hard to keep clean, especially with all the peanuts and other packing supplies. We receive packages from some companies that are packed full of shredded paper. Anybody who has had to deal with that knows that it only takes one time of sweeping up the floor for that to get old. The Craftsman Wet-Dry Vac makes light work of big messes. This vac is perfect for any situation. It provides the Horse Power to clean just about anything and it is easy to maintain. The best part about this vac is by far the price.... review »

Let's see where do I start....The shop vac is amazing.....The durability and performance is more than anticipated for jobs I needed to complete...My home is in a construction phase of 85% complete which has helped out more than expected.....Actually I like it better than my vacumn cleaner.....But let me tell everyone I very partial to Sears products since I have shopping there since I was as tall as my father's knee caps.....And as Dad would always say "If it isn't a Craftsman's, it's a waste of money." So to all you would be or could be shoppers out there.....THINK CRAFTSMAN.....BEFORE YOU MAKE... review »

This is the best shop vac that I have ever been priviledged to own. It really sucks the trash down! You have to be careful that you do not hold the nozzle too close to things you do not want to get rid of because it will suck small utility knives, screwdrivers, etc down the tube. If it will fit in the hose, it's going down. I cannot believe how powerful this vac is. I love it! I absolutely love it! I got mine on sale so it was definitely a good value but even not at sale price, it is an excellent value. Makes a great car vac and certainly as powerful (if not more so) as those commercial vacumns.... review »

I'm in the midst of remodelling my kitchen - sawdust, insulation, & dust/particles from sheet rock cutting & repairs galore. Cleanup is a snap - even the carpet. The powerful suction cleans it all. The carpet in my truck never looked so good. It's also a new addition to my jobsite table saw setup for dust collection - now more sawdust in my hair, on my clothes, on the floor, or all over the saw. VERY impressive.

This is a very powerful and convenient vac. I added the water pump as my basement was flooded and it worked just fine. The water squeegee attachment was very helpful. Have not purchased a bad craftsman product yet. Had some missing bolts once for a workbench and the customer service folks sent replacements immediately.
