Does anyone else find this useless? I called now two seasons in a row and it has been an highly frustrating process. They don't make appointments during the season and they completely failed to record another appointment i made -- forcing me to sit in the house all day like a craftsman tool. I have to say, it was not enjoyable. THis is coming from someone who LOVED craftsman and sears for years.

They need a policy of reimbursing wages when a customer takes off and they dont keep the service call apointment.

It would solve a lot of no shows.....

Are you trying to get a repair done or preventive maintenance? A repair should be no problem to get scheduled, but a PM in snow season may be a problem.

Trying to get an air conditioner repaired, during the heatwave season, also has its challenges (from personal experience).

Preventative Maintenance during the off-season would be the way to go with Lawn and Garden equipment.

Agree appointment not kept = escalated complaint and BBB complaint and demand for refund

Whilst I agree with the comment from shortb240 I thought inactive threads were locked down after... how many days?

Additionally if 'Sears' operated a recognised 'Quality Assurance' scheme and things like that happened some of the 'high priced help' would be missing their afternoon golf games as they tried to explain to the hierarchy what had gone wrong!! Just my take on affairs.

oops, guess I missed that this thread was that old. Regardless of the age of the thread the complaints I've read about service when needed have me rethinking the 200$ I spent on the service contract.
