so i picked this unit up and while i asked  a  few people which had no good answers i turn to you  pros in hopes of an answer.I have a barn with 5 12x12 exposed stalls that i normally shovel out but since i have this thrower i was wondering would i damage the thrower by throiwing soggy hay mixed with snow? havnt done it yet but it would save some time if it does not damage the unit--thnx in advance

That hay will get wrapped all around the impeller shaft, not advisable.

Just think of hay is hairs going through water pump definitely not a good idea.
