Solid machine well worth the money

Purchased this machine in 2006 particularly for the hydrostatic transmission. I have paid for the service tech to come out and do the annual tune up/maintenance, and that and gas are the only money I have spent on this machine. It cuts flawlessly every time. No issues with stretching belts, as someone noted previously. I hit the occasional stump, rock, tree root and have never broken a blade or the deck. I am not quite certain what the other reviewers are talking about with the clutch, I never use the clutch. I simply slide the transmission lever forward or back. The only time I manipulate the clutch/brake pedal is to stop/park the machine when getting off of it. Otherwise all of my driving is done by the hand lever. It does everything I have asked it to do and has put up with my abuse, without a hitch. There have been no breakages, nothing to repair. It has exceeded my expectations in this regard. I really have nothing negative to say and would buy one again in a heartbeat.
