“Product wears out over time”
Craftsman 22 in. Electric Hedge Trimmer —
Initially I was very pleased with the Craftsman brand. I was replacing a B&D whos motor had worn out from use. After time though, the blades began developing gaps. I would tighten down the screws until they eventually would get stripped and need to be replaced. There is no sharpening these type of blades. You must replace them. I priced replacement and it is $50. Way 2 expensive for some stamped metal pieces. Over time, the cutting ability diminishes and you will need to replace else end up with bad cuts and damaged shrubs that comes from that. I think next purchase will be a more pro model for me in which the blades can be resharpened...Craftsman 22 in. Electric Hedge Trimmer
