Craftsman 250cc 28" path Two Stage Snow Thrower —

This blower really moves snow. We have had record snow and cold in southern MN and I have used it many times this season. My last blower was a 7hp Snapper that lasted 10 years. This unit is much more powerful and throws the snow alot further. I can take a full cut on 6 inch and greater snow and not have snow roll off the side. The serrated augers really chop through the snowplow piles. I was uneasy with the Briggs motor but shouldn't have been. It starts on the first pull every time, no kidding. My complaints are few, but I will list them. I would like to have a throttle so I can idle it down. I would like a fuel shutoff so I can run the carb dry. I would like a knuckle joint on the chute directional changer so it will not rub on the motor. I adjusted it out as far as possible and now it sticks out farther than the blower intake so it drags through the snow beside me. One year no interest grabbed me and the blower was cheaper than others I looked at.
