I bought this mostly for the blower and have not been disappointed. It starts very easy when cold but can start a little harder when warm. It's light and works best when you hold the blower about an inch or two off the ground depending on the attachment you have on. It's fairly loud but what motor...

I hate two cycle engines. Unless you spend hundreds of dollars on a name brand commercial product you get junk. They work for a year and then you toss it in the garbage. I bought it last year for the easy start and it does but there are problems keeping it running.  Electric cords are a pain but you...

Craftsman 25cc Gas Blower/Vac Reviews

Displaying reviews 1 - 13 of 91 in total

After about 12 years, my Craftsman leaf blower finally gave out . I purchased a new Craftsman 25 cc Gas Blower and I am very pleased. The new blower is even better because it is so much lighter with equal performance.

I gave it a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars only because, like Tim Allen on Tool Time, I want more power, always more power, yea more power? I will not be happy until it blows the bark off the tree. Having said that, the Craftsman 25 cc Gas Blower meets my needs and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I had an electric blower before this one and while you do gain mobility and power with this blower, it's not like a backpack blower or anything like it! Living in New England with enough property and LOTS OF LEAVES, I use this a lot, and it's worked well for what I've expected it to do. . All in all, it's handy for blowing a driveway clean, or a walkway, but I really won't expect to do a fall cleanup on a medium sized + property.

After using an electric blower for a while, I purchased this Craftsman gas model.  The freedom of not having to drag around an extension cord is great.  I haven't used the vac function so I can't comment on that but the blower works fine.  I took off one star because it's only marginally stronger than my old electric model.

I already owned a sears blower/vac that was over 10 years old and thought it be a good idea to get a new one.

Good points:  It does an incredible job blowing leaves.  It is a bit heavier than my older model but I can still use the blower function with one hand so this is tolerable.   Vac mode is strong in picking up leaves.

Bad points:    It puts too much of a strain on my back because it requires to use 2 handles to pick up leaves.  Beings I'm 6' 4" it is too much leaning over thus tiring out my back.  The strap for the catcher bag is awkward trying to keep on my shoulders but...

Great blower/vac for the money

I must admit that at first I was skeptical as  purchased this.  The first time that I used it, it came on for about 5 seconds and then wouldn't start again.  I brought it right back to my local sears and they replaced after some tests.  Since then, I have used this as both a vac and a blower and absolutely love it!!

As a vac, it has saved me hours of raking and bagging.  As a mulch vac, I use the mulch for other projects in my yard.  It is also extremely easy to bag from the vac bag.  As a blower, I use it after each time that I mow the lawn to clear of my front walkway and long driveway. ...

The purchase of this Craftsman 25cc Gas Blower/Vac was a replacement for one that I had purchased 11 years ago.  That one lasted 11 years without any problems.  So I felt good going back and purchasing pretty much the same blower again.

The old blower had not only worked it's way through my yard, but two of my neighbor's yards as well for those 11 years.  I'm very pleased with Craftsman and didn't hesitate to go back to Sears for another one.

25cc blower not worth it

I purchased just over 2 years ago. Have had to have it repaired under warranty, no start condition, new piston, with an advisement to properly mix my fuel. One year into warranty. I have owned 2cylce powered equipment for over 30 years. 2 weeks out of warranty - failed again. Unit has less then 10 hrs of use. Won't start - pull until you are blue in the face. "Cheap Chinese Junk" I will never buy this type of product again, and I have been a long Craftsman product purchaser in the past

Outstanding value!

I have used a electrc blower for years and trying one of these only because I needed to clean out my gutters quickly and safely.  I use this for everything from blowing off the tractor to the driveway to cleaning out the garage.  Never will I go back to a cord blower.  The value of this top of the line blower is bar none to anything I have shopped for our used in the past.  Balanced perfectly!

Thanks Sears for another great product!

Great price

My Black and Decker leaf blower died last weekend and I found this Craftsman gas blower on sale at Sears.  After researching ********** and *********** seemed like a great price, as it is about half the price of what the other home improvement stores were asking for a similar quality gas powered leaf blower.  I am very satisfied with this leaf blower and would happily recommend it to others.

The Craftsman 25cc gas blower vac was easy to assemble, is easy to run and has sufficient power for most outdoor household jobs such as blowing leaves and acorns fallen from 20 oak trees on a small plot of land on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Bought this item to replace a Black and Decker electric blower vacuum I had that quit running. Glad I bought this Blower/Vac. and not another electric.  Very Powerful in both modes. Very light but powerful. Does a better job then the electric models. Is stronger then I expected it to be.  Fantastic for both types of use and an Excellant buy for the price.

Owned a similar Craftsman prior to this one that up and quit; would not start.  Never figured out what was wrong, so picked up this one.....what a relief!  Size is more compact and lighter weight than the older model.  This doesn't wear you out as fast as the older, heavier model did.  This is important when you have a large yard with fruit trees, like I do!  Startup sometimes is one pull, sometimes half a dozen; probably dependent on the outside temperature.  Has great velocity for blowing leaves and dirt.  An excellent unit for an affordable price....make sure you get hearing protection,...
