Craftsman 26&#34 208cc* Dual-Stage Snow Thrower —

I read several reviews before purchasing. This model seemed to provide substantial features for the price compared to similar Cub Cadet and Yard Machine/MTD models. Another person complained about the cable controls. They assumed the "cheep" construction would not hold up under severe cold weather. I can tell you this is not so. -18 degrees (-41 windchill), started right up every thing works the same as if it were 50 degrees. I have used it on 8 inches and less in very cold weather. So far works great. No large snow falls around a foot yet. It does clear larger piles quite easily though. Very little bog on the motor dozing small drifts. Pull starts easily once warm. Shute works great, must realign once in a while as the cable system will allow it to slip the alignment if forced to move without cables. Bought the product first of November used it about 6 times. So far so good. Easy to manuver.
