I read the manual and followed the instructions which inform the owner that it must be run dry when not being used. I followed the instructions and when to start it the night before the areas first snow storm and it would not start. I contacted Sears and they informed me that they may have been some gas left in the carburetor and told me to pour a small amount of gas in the sparkplug hold and try and start it. The snow blower started for a second or two. After this they informed me that the carburetor is either shot or needs to be cleaned and fixed. Then they informed me that this is not covered by the warranty. Every other gas powered machine I own (Honda mower, trimmer, Echo backpack blower) all start after proper storage and maintenance. You would think a $699.00 snow blower would do the same.
