Works pretty well for a small air compressor. We have used this for a couple of years now.

I've had this for a little over 2 years and it worked fine. Then it started to take a real long time to fill the tank when dry. At first it took about 15 minutes to fill. In the last month, it started to take 90+ minutes. Now it won't rise above 45 psi. I took it to a couple of shops and it will cost around $150 to fix. Time to buy another one, but not a Craftsman.

I am impressed at the quietness of this model compressor. Before I purchased this one I had two rather small 125 psi compressors. Both were much louder than this one. This is a good compressor for the money. I must say that the connectors(the one you plug your hose into) had to be replaced because it would not allow me to plug in my hose. So. sears has some work to do on this situation.

THIS UNIT RUNS WITH LITTLE NOISE, MY YOUNGEST LIKES THAT. STEADY SUPPLY OF AIR WITH LITTLE EFFORT. HOSE THAT COMES WITH UNIT IS CHEAP, REPLACE QUICKLY. UNIT GETS HOT WHEN FILLING, SOMETHING MY LAST UNIT DID NOT DO. OVERALL THIS A GOOD TOOL AND HAS THE BACKING FROM SEARS. THAT ALONE MAKES IT WORTH THE PURCHASE.

Just purchased this a week ago and I've already used it several times. Isn't too loud and powers my air tools very well. The PVC air hose that comes with the kit is worthless, it not even the correct size to use with the impact wrench or ratchet. I purchased a 3/8 rubber air hose. I also recommend upgrading to another impact wrench as the one with the kit doesn't have much power. Those are the only problems, air ratchet works great. Great compressor!

Good compresor, has all I need for projects around house or car. Quiet, easy to move. Supplied air hose lousy, bought a rubber 3/8" and works well. Air tools work well for me, make sure you adjust impact driver to higher setting for lug nuts. Instructions tell you to turn drain valve counter-clockwise to open, but that closes it. So turn it clockwise for warm-up and you'll have no problems.

This is by far the best compressor for home use I've seen. Owning a raised ranch style house I was worried about the noise while running. Not a problem!! Although you can't "hear a pin drop" while it's running , you can still carry on a conversation. Fill time to 160 was quicker than expected and it doesn't have a problem keeping up with my Snap-on impact. If you buy this unit you HAVE to get a better hose!!!! At least 3/8" I.D. Suggestion to Sears: drop the chintzy accessory kit and offer the compressor alone at a lower price! Although I think the compressor is worth what I paid ($289 on sale)...

This Compressor seems to be a good buy. You have to follow the break-in instructions before use. I bought this product for body repair on our vehicles and other things around the house. The air hose is cheap. I recommend getting a heavy duty 3/8 50 ft hose. I recommend this one to others.

Needed a compressor for years. Finally broke down and picked this one up to remove a stubborn tank strap bolt doing a fuel pump swap. Borrowed an impact hammer, and cut through that bolt.
Discovered the impact has little more torque than the air ratchet, but tried another impact, and all was well.
Impact is weak, ratchet is good, and the compressor is excellent. Haven't tried a better hose yet, but I'm sure it will help some.
I like the portability of this unit. It does run just fine on an extension cord, and hasn't blown a breaker or fuse yet.

I have only filled tires with this as of yet but I got 7 truck tires filled up before it turned on to replenish. One of the tires was also almost completely flat. As far as I can tell it has pretty good air flow and charge time for a 120v compressor. I am extremely imppressed with the quietness of the pump and motor. I also like the portability it is very easy to move with the built in handle and wheels. I am very happy with my purchase

Very good, and what a deal. I am very pleased with it, as well as the kit that comes with it. The hose that came with it is light duty, but that is the only bad. Very quiet for a compressor.
