Craftsman 26 hp 54 in. Deck Garden Tractor —
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">I purchased the Craftsman GT 5000 26 HP/54" Garden Tractor while it was on sale and offered a 10% mail in discount. I had done research on this model and concluded that the Craftsman GT 5000 26 HP/54" Garden Tractor was the best tractor available for the price. I mow over two acres and maintain a total of 7.5 acres with this tractor. I prefer the gear shift over the hydrostatic drive models because the gear driven tractor produces more power to the wheels. Another important note is the hydrostatic drive tractors may overheat while under heavy loads and damage the hydrostatic transmission. (The Hydrostatic Xmi$$ion is “Maintenance Free” therefore to repair you must replace). All the GT 5000 Garden Tractors have an extremely tight turning radius. This allows you to cut around large trees with one turn along as you are turning at a reasonable speed. If not, the front wheels will plow straight ahead. The driver’s seat has armrests, which should always be lowered to keep you from sliding off the comfortable but very slippery seat. Mower deck height is great when raised to the maximum height ( 7 inches). Unfortunately, at the maximum height the gauge wheels will not hit the ground. This is not a great distracter since the Craftsman GT 5000 26 HP/54" Garden Tractor has an above average deck height for all riding mowers, I just want more!!! As for more, the Craftsman GT 5000 26 HP/54" Garden Tractor is very fast with a top speed over 7 MPH. Watch out NASCAR here we come!!!Craftsman 26 hp 54 in. Deck Garden Tractor
