Craftsman 26 in. 6-Drawer Ball-Bearing Chest - Red Reviews

I have so many Craftsman hand tools stuffed into this chest I can barely pick it up! Yet, each drawer slides in and out with ease and never falls out onto the floor like a generic brand I once owned. If I could fit more tools into each drawer I'm sure they would still work smoothly. This is a tool chest that can be set up on a work bench next to your work station in a garage, or be set into the back of your pick-up truck and hauled straight to a job site. The six drawers allow you to selectively place hand tools where you see fit....marking it as your territory for sure!

Have one of these babies...

A great in home chest.

This chest is very smooth and is great for the in home do it-your-selfer. The price is right and it's durable enough to last for years. Something you don't get much anymore these days.

Sharp to look at

Sears products is all my husband will buy they last longer than other products. They cost more, but when it comes to quality you can't beat Craftsman. The products arn't hard to find there is sears stores in most towns. You can call a 800 number for your parts they ship to your door. The toolchest has alot of storeage space and the good thins is you can add to it.The drawers stay in the tracks/ quiet /easy rolling.Has flip top and a lock top drawer system. When the top is open the drawers want open.Safe easy to use product.

I think I like Quiet Glide better

I finally completed my Craftsman 26" tool box stack with this 6 drawer ball bearing chest. I'm pretty frugal so I picked up each of the three pieces (roll-away, intermediate box, top chest) separately while each was on sale, as all 3 tend not to be on sale at the same time. Between sales and coupons on top I paid just a hair over $300 for all 3 (quiet glide roll-away, ball-bearing intermediate box, ball bearing top box). Though I wanted to have the same drawer slides on all 3, I ended up getting a deal I couldn't refuse on a quiet glide 5-drawer roll-away. The intermediate box and top chest have... read full review »

Another great box from Craftsman

This is another great box for the money that you pay for it. The smaller drawers on the top are a really nice feature to have. It helps you break up the smaller items that would normally be rolling around in the larger drawers and getting lost. If you think you wouldn't need them, think again. As I said with the larger bottom box it would be nice to have the grip latch system on it but hey for the money you CAN NOT beat it!!

Excellent Value

This tool box is an excellent deal for the price... especially now while its on sale. It's sturdy and the ball bearing slides keep it operating smoothly!

Great Chest

This is a great tool chest. I went from friction type glides to these ball bearing glides. WOW; what a difference. The Craftsman quality in this chest is excellent. I think I will stick with Craftsman ball bearing chests from now on, and stay away from the friction glides all together. I am not a full time mechanic, but I do use my tool box 2 to 3 times a week, and I know that this box will last me for years.

Great Box!

Nothing negative to say other than it's a little highly priced. If you want a quality box and have the money, you will not be disappointed. Salesmen were more than helpful at my local Sears. Thanks

Ball-Bearing Is The Best!

I like this 6 Drawer Tool Chest for the ball bearings alone. The drawers glide easily even when loaded with heavy tools. The steel is a heavier thickness and the construction is built to last. I also purchased the 5 Drawer Rollaway to go underneath it. Don't forget to buy a roll of liner before you leave. I had to go back for mine since it's a must for any new toolbox your setting up.

Valuable tool storage

This chest is the perfect fit and addition to my Craftsman tool cabinet. The ball bearings work smoothly. Lots of storage for the space!

Great PRODUCT

This box was the first box i ever purchased and i honestly dont think that i will ever get rid of it, i am a mechanic and i think when its time to retire it(if it ever comes) i dont think ill be able to, this box ROCKS!!! I expecially like the roller ball bearings, they are smooth unlike the friction and they are quiet!!! i would reccommend this day in and day out!!!

Great Tool Chest

This tool chest is great for anyone who uses tools much at all. The ballberirng slides work great. Campared it to other brands and the other "cheaper" brands seem to be far inferior. This chest will outlast the competiction. This tool chest is top quality.
