Hey abeetsch

Well thus far you havent gotten any help from anyone at sears, but have patience Im sure one of the pro's will drop by and point you somewhere.

As a customer I cant help this is out of my realm of knowledge,

Sears pros helping out is taking an uptick in my opinion so welcome and hang in there!

If you want to know if someone is a customer or not you currently have to hold your cursor over their given scren name.  Its good to know whom is whom...

B&S, this was addressed on another thread, there is an adjustment at the bottom of the gear cable..

Good info!

I work in California.

So, there isn't the same amount of expertise, say someone from MA might have.

:)

But, if you want to know something about high-wheel trimmers, I'm here for you.

That would be in the high-wheel trimmers post wouldnt it?  Ill disagree on the B&S because the poster asked the question here.  I would agree about B&S if the poster was directed to the other post!  Now that is B and S

but then I am just a customer chiming in

I dont have to defend my expertise on the subject!  Lets be frank about what B&S is defined.....Cow Manuer from the male species

And you are right, here's my response from the other thread

"There is an adjustment at the bottom of the shift cable. Try putting the silver tab in a different hole, there are three. If that doesn't fix it, the bolt is adjustable. Frankly, running it in second is fine if it's slow enough for you. Stay warm."

Don't forget to advance order any shear pins your snow blower uses.

Doing so may save you as much as a week's down-time waiting for the parts to arrive in the mail - should the machine require them this snow throwing season.
