I purchased two of these on May 19 2009. As of this date 1 has completely failed. The motor has froze and will not operate at all. From day one it leaked air, sometimes not work or would not reverse. @nd one is holding it's own. I am a 62 year old that is a hobbist mechanic. Have been using air tools...

i love my air ratchet i can use it on just about anything i have yet to find something it will not loosen up or tighten enough its deffinately a must have in on any workbench.
I like it because it works well and its quite.
Just bought this tool today after taking returning a air tool kit. Used the money to buy this Craftsman 3/8 Air Ratchet. This is a very nice tool. The ability to adjust where the air is directed is well designed. This air ratchet has a very nice finish. The plastic trigger is comfortable. Easy to squeeze. Also, most all air tools are loud and make lots of noise. This model has reduced noice. Also, the 2 speeds; HI-LO setting are great as well. You can slowly take a nut or bolt off and when the bolt is loose, you can change to high speed. Excellent air tool. Works well with my 20 Gallon Craftsman...
