good enough for every day use

Purchased from a local sears hardware store and loved it from the first time I used it. It is, like all air drills, an air hog. I have had this drill for 6 months with a few issues. There is now a flat spot in the drill to where it will not start unless you spin the chuck and hold the trigger. This drill also seamed to not have as much torque as other manufactures drill similar to this one. Quality wise it has held up to the...

I used to use this drill everyday when I was working as a machinist/supercharger technician. It worked great for drilling small holes in seals so i could use a puller. I have also heavily used it for drilling into alluminum. The drill lacks any amount of torque so drilling into stainless is difficult unless you go really slow. It is awesome for high speed precise drilling, but not good for anything that requires torque (as with most air drills). If i have air readily available i go for this drill over any corded or cordless drills. I also love the compact size which makes it easy to hold in small...
