I needed an air compressor for around the house chores, including remodeling the house I live in. We are replacing doors, replacing trim boards, and building new spaces within the floorplan. This compressor is perfect. I only run one nail gun at a time so it has the capability to run it with ease,...

Poor quality

I received one for Christmas and once I set it up and ran it I could hear air leaking.  I found the air leaking from the weld seam in the tank. I returned it to Sears and they replaced it.  The second one once I set it up and ran it, it leaked air from the safety valve as soon as the compressor starting...

Craftsman 3 Gallon Horizontal Air Compressor... Reviews

I had ordered a less expensive (cheap) compressor from a national outlet and it worked for one hour. Should have gone to Sears in the first place they stand behind their products.

The Compressor is perfect for DIY around the home jobs and would work in a more demanding environment. There is no break-in procedure and all the accessories are included to get you started immediately. It saved the day. I will be able to complete many more projects with ease of mind and a great piece of equipment.

Good little compressor

This is a good little compressor for around the house jobs, it is not good for on the road projects that requires repeated and constant usage.  It simply isn't designed for it.  However, what it is designed for is for light usage around the house and it excels at that.  This is a nice addition for the person that likes to do minor jobs on their own.  I highly recommend this for someone looking to purchase an air compressor but is not going to be tackling any large jobs like building entire decks or such.

It excels at what it's designed to do.

I recently received notice that there may be a problem with my nine plus year old three gallon compressor that directed my to takevit in for free service for a potential problem. I took it to Sears Hardware near my home for service. They took it in, sent it off for service and returned it to me in less than two weeks. Accepting responsibility for a potential problem with a nine year old product is just what I expect and really appreciate with Sears. I keep going there for that reason.

This compressor is the perfect size to have in a garage or workshop where there is limited space.  I have used this for projects such as building storage cabinets and installing molding.  It is also great for quick tacks like adding air to the tires on the cars.  It is very easy to setup and get ready to use.

My wife purchased this compressor for Father's Day 2010, so I have had it for 6 months. I use it mostly for filling tires, nail guns and cleaning sawdust off of wood. I use it a couple times a week on average. I have not had any major problems with it and still works like new other than since I first adjusted it to 90 psi, there is a very slow leak (if compressor is not used for an hour it will kick back on) from the adjustment knob. Even if I am only filling tires I always allow it to run until the motor is warm to the touch and always drain the tank after using. I recently purchased a couple... read full review »

Great Compressor

This is the first air compressor I have owned and hopefully the last. It was extremely easy to set up out of the box. The 3 gallon has proven to be more than enough to get small jobs done without the motor running constantly. I really like the weight and ability to take this compressor with my to other sites. Overall, great buy!!

My Craftsman 125PSI 1HP 3Gal Air Compressor which my bride of 41 years purchased for me last Christmas has proven to as valuable as gold.  Being a bike enthusiast, having a dolly to move around heavy articles, the owner of a Craftsman Lawn Tractor, two cars, and a wheelbarrow, this compressor has been outstanding at keeping me going for the past year.  It came with all the necessary fittings to fill each one of the above items with just an easy click remove, click put on.  What more can a novice ask for than that!!! I highly recommend its purchase and it is not that expensive!

Nice small air compressor

I knew this was a small compressor with a small air tank when I purchased it, so it runs a little more often than I would like. It has done what I have asked for it to do, and will be getting a finish nailer to use with it later. The polyflo hose and accessory kit included is not of the highest quality, but it does work. I have put miles of coiled polyflo hoses on machines and it performs well if you use it within its limitations. Overall it is a good buy for the $99.00 I paid for it.

A light weight design compressor with good portability.  A little noisy and moves when put on flat surface while motor running.  Tiny leakage when at idle.

Needed a compressor to seat the bead and inflate my motorcycle tubeless tires. This unit is fine for this application. Going forward, I'll be using it for general inflation, air pressure cleaning, and light air tool work. It comes with 90ml of SAE 30 oil ... so you don't need to purchase it seperately.

The include 25' 1/4 ID hose was split and cracked right out of the box. Instead  of returning it, I just bought a higher quality hose. The accessories are adequate for inflation. The unit is small and portable (via the built in handle), and the instruction manual is clear and concise. On sale I...
