The product in the picture and the one they sent me are two TOTALLY DIFFERENT vises! The vise in the picture looks well made and the machining is good with the name craftsman machined right in the vise. The one they sent to me was not even close,black, rough casting, hard to move both ways, and the craftsman name was on a cheap piece of tin rivited to the vise. WHAT A JOKE!
This vise is more accurate than a drill press in the $280.- 500 price range. Probably matching with a $1500.- drill press accuracy. I like it.
Bought this to use with my 10 inch drill press. Works great and is accurate.
You'll need to follow the directions and adjust the ways for a smoother operation.
