I use these wheel weights on a Craftsman YS4500 26 HP Lawn Tractor with a 42" snow thrower attachment. The weights do a good job of helping to provide for extra traction. The first year that I installed them, it did take a little effort to get a ratchet wrench on the insides of the wheels when securing the weights. It took several attempts to cobble together the right amounts of extension bars, along with a strategically placed U-Joint. Eventually, I figured it out. I've sinced learned that there's a much easier way to do it. For the greatest ease of assembly, I highly recommend a Craftsman Fine-Tooth Round Flexible Head Ratchet in either the 1/2 inch drive (009-44983) or 3/8 inch drive (009-42794). These are catalog/online exclusive, and you won't find them in stores. These particular ratchets are not only double pawl, but they offer the wonderfully helpful feature of a "built-in knurled speeder for finger adjustment." Once you've used the speeder, you'll be glad that you didn't settle for the typical, run-of-the-mill standard-tooth teardrop flexible head ratchets available in local Sears stores. When I have the right tools for the job, what I do is lay on my back with my hip forced against the wheel weight in place while I thread the fasteners through and secure them. I think you'll find this tip helpful that I've learned through experience.
