I bought one a couple of weeks ago and am well satisfied with its quality and performance but there are a few washers short.
When assembling the sweeper I was surprised to see there was no 5/16" X 3/4" flat washers to go with the bolts. the locking plastic insert nuts are nice but they should be backed up by a flat washer when going through the punched frame pieces. It just makes a nicer appearence plus gives a more solid connection. Come on ,Craftsman add a couple of dollars to the price if you have to but put them in the bag. It just happens I keep things like that around.
Also I think the hight adjustment leaver could use some tweaking; I have had mine flip at the adjustment nut. While you are at it get rid of the plastic plugs that hold the hopper frame together; some how I just don't find a place for "plastic" anything on lawn and garden equiptment.
Still a good machine........

Make a clean sweep of leaves, grass clippings, lawn debris and more with a Craftsman sweeper.
