“Bottom line: Makes lawn look better”

Craftsman 46 in. High Speed Tow Sweeper — 

This is my second lawn sweeper. Got this one because it is bigger and has a better speed ratio --- meaning that you don't have to drive your lawn tractor at full speed to get the rotation needed to pick up grass. This definitely makes the job a bit easier -- with the larger capacity --- but you have to keep in mind that this is "work." It is not easy, but if you want a better looking lawn, this work is worth it. The sweeper is a bit tedious to operate as all are. Picking up the grass / leaves / whatever is the easiest part of the equation. Next you will find yourself with (depending on the size of your lawn) dozens of piles of grass clippings, for instance. And it's next to impossible to dump each time in the same spot...so be prepared to dump and rake and re-pile, etc. The large pile(s) of clippings have to be bagged unless you are in an area that allows burning, and burning grass is not easy. Grass smolders because oxygen has a hard time getting to it in a pile. I'm rambling --- so the bottom line is....the end result is worth it -- but it IS work. One footnote: I agree with other reviewers....the directions for assembly of the sweeper are much too inadequate. Working patiently as I could, it took me 4 hours to put this baby together.
