This is a great machine. The only draw back I've had in the past 2 years is the rubber hose running from the primer button to the engine splits on the end and will not prime or start. It requires taking the housing apart, cutting the hose and reattaching it. Time consuming and can be very frustrating....

I like this snow thrower very much. I have a bad back and shoveling is not an option for me so I bought the snow thrower to get rid of the snow on my driveway and sidewalk. The only problem I've had is in starting it, but I'm not sure how much of that is due to the snow thrower, or due to my bad back. Either way, once it's started, it sure beats shoveling!
I FIND THIS MACHINE VERY HANDY FOR REMOVING SNOW & SAVING MY BACK!
Being a middle aged single female, my father bought me this machine so I would not have to shovel. It is easy to start, easy to handle, and saves me from a lot of work and sore muscles.
The machine works well but imagine my surprise whe I took the unit for service and found out the B&S motor on my unit bought in Nov. 2005 was build in 1989 and was really a 3.5 hp. I wonder how many more of these units, including new o7/08 models are build likewise.
Great machine!Simple to start and easy to operate.Don't get as much snow as I would like in my area,but the time's we do get some this machine makes it fun and easy to clear the snow.
When the snow truck plows the street ,and blocks my drive way.I don't sweat it or worry about my back,and the crew thats supposed to clear our sidewalks useing commercial grade snowblowers can't keep up with mine.They are always fighting with their machine ,and can't keep them running.
My husband sent me to buy a snowblower. I picked out this one because it was small enough for me to handle yet big enough to clear the deep snow. We liked it so much, the next year we bought another one. Now we have his and hers.
I have this snow thrower for three years,never had trouble it starts every time,it throw snow like it hate it. I am 72years old & I loveit.
