Purchased this lawnmower on 12 May and returned it dead on July 23rd. Cut 1/2 Acre lawn about weekly so after approximately 8 uses, it died. I have never had an engine go bad on a lawnmower in 40 years of cutting lawns. This was a pretty little mower but it would fill up the bag in 1 lap around the yard and start lugging and banging on the first usage. Puffs of smoke billowed out after stopping and starting it for bag change. My grass is plush but this thing had no durability. Got the next higher model from Sears and while it sounds stronger, only time will tell. I have been cutting this lawn with a battery powered lawnmower for 3 years with no problem until it just rattled to pieces last year. I don't think this mower deserves the Craftsman name.
