Mower comes pre-assembled; all you have to do is pour in the included oil, extend the folding handle, and add some gas. Don't forget to prime to engine or else you'll be pulling the start cord for a while. After priming, starts on first pull. I've had this since Jun 18 09. Mulching is excellent. I haven't used the bag yet - saving that for the Fall leaves. With the handle folded, takes up minimal space in the garage. I am very pleased with my purchase.
