I have had nothing but great luck with the Craftsman 100ft. All Rubber Hose.

The length is just one of the many good features. One hundred feet will reach most things and still not be too much to handle (less than 23 pounds).

The crush-proof brass connections have worked just like I'd expect from any...

Most Helpful Critical Review

I have owned two of these hoses for over a year. Both are stored on traditional hose reels, one in more of a shady spot and another that receives a bit more sun. I hate using these hoses as they always leave my hands very black after rolling them back up. They also kink very easily. While these probably...

Craftsman 5/8 in. x 100 ft. All Rubber Hose Reviews

I've bought a number of Craftsman hoses of various lengths and sizes. They're all excellent and long-lasting. While other cheap hoses that I bought at other stores have long since bitten the dust (one got a huge "growth" on the hose that eventually popped and spewed water everywhere), every Craftsman hose I've ever bought has lasted years and years without problems. It's true that they sometimes kink, especially when brand new, but I haven't met a hose that doesn't (even those that claim to be kink-free).

We love the softness and easy re-rolling power of the Craftsman rubber hose. The 100 ' length is perfect because there is no coupling in the middle. The nickel plated brass fittings will last without rusting. We have another Sears hose that has lasted for more than 30 years. Plastic hoses that become brittle and crack just don't last.

Do not monkey around looking for another hose brand. Buy this product and you will have it for life. I had one for 8 years and when I started having problems with it I took it to the store and they gave me a new one without any issues. So when I had the need to buy a 2nd one I did not think it twice.

Your gonna love this hose.

I love this hose.  It is my main hose for watering the garden and washing cars.  Its just the right length to reach almost any part of our yard with a garden or flower bed and it can run circles around the car when I'm washing it.  Its only down side is that when you pull out all one hundred feet of the hose it can get heavy and cumbersome to pull around.  Its still the best and I use it for everything one can use a hose for.  Its exceptionally durable since Its always getting run over by a car or truck and it still has no signs of wear from the year round abuse.  I also like the wrench fittings...

Have used 2 of these in the last 25 years washing aircraft.   Very durable and reliable.  With the Craftsman nozzle it is a winning combination.

We love our Crafstman rubber hoses!!!  We have a small farm with one water spigot and about 400' of Crafstman rubber hose.

They hardly ever a kink; mostly when the new roll is unwound.  The kink is not something that keeps ocurring in the same spot, when it does happen.

The brass fittings are as durable as the hoses, and can handle being driven over.  If you do get a hole in one, Sears relaces the hose with no hassle: it's  painless!!!!

I would recommend these to anyone, but would strongly recommend them to anyone who wants to purchase one more hose for the very last time!  I'm here to...

I just get so frustrated everytime I use this hose... the kinking is unbelieveable, it's like it was MADE to kink!  When you try to coil it, you have to turn the hose one revolution with each coil in order to keep it from twisting around itself like the old coiled phone cords, and with a long hose that is nearly impossible to do.  Who thought a five sided hose was a good idea?  After watering many flower beds the last thing I want to do is contend with a kinking hose!  I really enjoy working in my flower beds, but knowing I'm going to have to deal with this hose takes part of the fun...

Simply gets the job done

After buying 3 of the 50ft verison and liking them so much I decided that I needed more length and this fit the job. This hose is just as amazing as the the 50ft and the build quality is the same. Coiling the hose is pretty hard due to it's length and it is slighty on the heavy side. You do have to fight the hose as it does kink a bit. Despite that, I'd recommended it.

Great hose

I have about 200 ft of this hose of varying lengths that I purchased back in 1992. Still in great shape and no leaks. Yes it does kink. I think most hose will if you don't unroll it properly. But when a real rubber hose kinks it retains its shape unlike plastic stuff. Anyway, I am going to probably buy another 200 ft cause instead of a large city lot I now have 2.5 acres, it's hot, and I need to water fruit trees and azalea bushes along the property line.

Good for 22 years

I bought one of these in 1987 and it finally developed a leak. I took it to my Sears store and they gave me a new one with no hassle. Can't beat that Craftsman warranty!
