Craftsman 5/8 in. x 50 ft. All Rubber Garden Hose —
I've had several hoses, and I had usually paid around $15 for them. Inevitably, I'd leave it outside over the winter, or it would get a kink and it would leak at the kink, or the ends would get damaged and the hose would be rendered useless. This hose eliminates all those worries, and then some.
It's made of rubber, so it's very resistant to damage from friction, which is good, because I have slate edging in front of the bushes that hide the spigot. The hose body is also hexagonal, allowing for easy looping over the hose holder, and preventing kinks. It's also tolerant of low temperatures, so the winter I left it outside didn't harm it any. The ends are thick, strong, and the female end is hexagonal, allowing for a tight fit.
On sale, and with my Craftsman Club card, I ended up getting this hose for around $18. I've had it for 3 years, and am quite sure it will last me a very long time. If it does have any problems, I can always just bring it back and get a brand new one to replace it, because it has a forever guarantee, just like the hand tools.
If you're considering garden hoses, give strong consideration to this one. For a few more dollars than some other models, you've got a super durable hose that is guaranteed forever.
