Everything attached to this tank works, but is cheap. The "valve" is plastic. The gauge is not very accurate, and the hose is short and poorly made.

That said, its convenient to have this around and mine holds air just fine. All I did was remove the hose and install a quick connect so I can use my regular...

I bought this for home use. It has always had a slow leak and won't hold a charge. I got it out today to use it and the shut-off valve is jammed, though I never did more than tighten it by hand (no wrench). Sears says that this has a 1 year warranty and is not eligible for replacement.

I bought a no-name...

I bought this little portable air tank for my husband because his had been stolen. He uses it all the time and really needed a new one. We have a lot of cars and this little thing has been so convenient! Thanks for a great product! Lisa

... Was worth the $25 price tag. It does what it's supposed to do... Hold air.

I bought one of these Craftsman 5 gallon air tanks before I got into a full blown compressor. During those days I was suffering from multiple flat tires and often would be in remote places when they were discovered. I would swing into the gas station and fill the tank and keep it in the truck for need.

Today the tank has been relegated to a garage life. With the 135 psi capacity the tank can air car tires but is mostly used for the wheelbarrow tire and neighborhood bicycle fixes. Ocassionally I need to blow something off which is mostly "me" after cutting on the table saw.

This tank is handy and...

Good product good value

Nice compact air tank for filling up my bike tires in the morning before work, without having to turn on the noisy compressor and waking up the spouse.

Wow!!  What a geat compressor for such a low price.  The CRAFTSMAN 5 gallon horizontal air tank, 135 psi, provided a great service to my family the first day it arrived.   We filled the tank and then fixed the tire on my rototiller and filled the tires of every bike that had been in storage for the winter.

I have trusted craftsman and for years and they have never disappointed and this little compressor is no exception.  If you have small jobs about the house that need to be done, the Craftsman 5 gallon horizontal air tank, 135 psi, is the one for you!

Parts don't seem to be available, my valve needs replacing.

Seems a shame, the rest of the tool works great.

Handy but has limited use

First of all, the first one I purchased in the store had a leaking valve. Sears replaced it no questions asked. So I already own a Craftsman air compressor that i love. I'm just tired of dragging it out every time i need a little air so I thought this would be perfect. While its great for topping off tires and filling balls, it does not have the capacity to fill up larger items like inflatables. I suppose the first clue should be that it comes with a tire chuck already installed. I immediately replaced it with a quick release so I could attach other items to it. I will probably use it for my nail...

Solid construction, hold pressure for weeks.

Ordered on line, pick up at store worked great.

I bought one about 15 years ago and it still leaks no air.  The included hose is worthless but I wanted to replace it with the quick disconnect coupler anyway.  The guage is relatively accurate.  Overall, I am very happy with the tank and would recommend it.

Great Little Tank

I bought this 5 gal portable tank as a "companion" for the 17 gal compressor/tank that my wife gave me for Christmas this year. While it's great having the big compressor and tank in my garage, there are often times when I just need a few gallons on hand to top off car tires etc. This 5 gal unit is perfect for this purpose. I use the big unit to fill this one up and then carry the little one behind the passenger seat of my F-150 work truck. It tucks neatly away behind the seat, or in the trunk of my car, then I always have a few gallons/psi nearby when I need it. Best of all, the portable unit... read full review »

this is good bang-for-buck small tank.

Cheap air hose

I had to throw away the integral hose since the air chuck was fused to the hose. I not only want to air tires but also want to use a blow gun on it to clean the deck on my riding lawnmower. I replaced the hose with one that has a quick connect adapter end.
