I purchased my log splitter in February. This machine is well built and has more than enough power. I have used it a total of 5 hours and it can bust through 32 inch oak and hedge with no hesitation.
One thing I like is how well this machine is built. Typical of any Craftsman product, This machine is built to last decades.
The Briggs and Stratton engine is very quiet even when it its under a load . I am used to an older log splitter that will rattle your brain due to noise and vibration so this machine is a welcome change.
This machine is well balanced so you can move it around your garage with ease.
It is a real benefit to being able to split wood horizontally or vertically. This machine allows both.
It would be a benefit to have an hour meter on this product simply for routine maintenance identification.
Keep up the good work Craftsman!! You hit a home run with this one..
