I have had this mower almost two weeks now and have had no problems...so far. I really like the key start . This makes it easier to handle without always pulling the cord. The engine starts easy and it cuts the grass (like it should do) nice and even. The power seems good enough (6.75) but like any mower it will stall in thick, tall grass. This is were the key start is handy.
I have not had a problem with the wheels yet (only time will tell). I will update this review if I do.
One very small negative is that it is heavy (almost 100lbs).
So, all in all overall I have been happy with this mower.

I couldn't be happier! I've been mowing for 2 months now with no problems whatsoever. I haven't even needed to recharge the battery. The suction this provides for bagging is far superior to the Honda mower I replaced. I'm getting a nice even cut, with no problems with the wheel adjusters previous reviews mentioned. No need to wait for the grass to dry, this does the job even when wet.

Purchased this mower on 4/16/08 but had to return for replacement. when I opened the box I noticed that the rear wheel hubs were broken. Had to go back for a replacement which I carefully inspected at the store.
Brought the mower home and was cutting the lawn within minutes. It runs exceptionally well and controls are comfortable and placed well. The rear wheels look a little crooked and this concerns me but its early in the season.
If it weren't for those fragile rear wheels I would highly recommend this unit.

The height adjuster moves as I mow. The deck wash leaks so bad that it sprays directly on the engine. I wont use it for fear of ruining the engine. The wheels wobble and I double checked the bolts, so its not loose. The side discharge cover (I mulch) allows clippings to get all over the mower and me. I double checked this also ,its on correctly. Overall not happy with unit. My last craftsman had very little problems. Very disappointed.

I bought this lawn mower early this past season. Over all I am happy with it. As with anything there are highs and lows. The pros Good amounts of power. Front wheel drive is more then strong enough and can almost pull you. The engine has plenty of oomph to cut up thicker areas or recut when needed. The bag does a good job at keeping what's cut inside which is nice when you are concerned about spreading weed seeds. The cons. As already mentioned the bending the rear wheel supports and the wheels popping out of their height setting. You can easily correct the wheels popping out of their height setting...

This is my second front drive, electric start mower from Sears. The first lasted as an electricstart for about 4 years. It always started..manually in one pull because it had a 'primer' bulb. this new mower is nice..but it doesn't start as easy. There is no primer bulb to prime the engine before starting. Therefore, it takes at least 4 or 5 pulls to get it started with the pull rope. The old method...wth prime bulb is much better.

Height adjuster on one side continue to come loose without warning. Rear bag is too,too small. Last weekend the engine would not start without priming. Even after running the engine shutting down to empty the bag (this you will do alot of) trying to re-start engine would not start. Pushed the primer bulb five (5) times engine finally started. Its going back to Sears for a new one.

THE FRONT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT LEVERS ON THIS MOWER WILL NOT STAY IN PLACE. ANY BUMP OR MOVEMENT TO EITHER SIDE CAUSES THE LEVER TO SLIP. THE ENGINE STALLS IN ONLY A FEW INCHES OF GRASS. I EXCHANGED MOWERS AND HAD THE SAME TROUBLE. FINALLY GOT MY MONEY BACK.

The easy adjust wheels adjust so easy they do so by themselves 8 to 10 times per hour of mowing. i have had to get the self propelled feature fixed twice since i bought it 10 months ago. The key start works good which is a blessing because the machine stalls often in heavy grass.

Be very careful plugging in and removing the charger prongs. They are exremely delicate and somewhat flimsy. They will pull out from the cheap plastic connector with very little effort and they are very hard to repair leaving you replacement as the only option. This happened to me on my initial charging. The mower is fine otherwise.

The mower is very heavy in the front making it very dificult to lift and turn it. With all that weight it dosen't propel itself on the slightest incline. The wheels just spin. The large rear wheels seemed to make it even more difficult. If it did grab it didn't go straight. I returned it to sears and got my money refunded without any problem. I have a sears lawn tractor, aireator and spike seeder and I love them all. This mower let me down.

this mower has the worst bagger I have ever seen. The angle of the bag is so high that the grass clippings only fill the bag 30 to 40% full. I took it to my local sears store, they would not even look at it.
Service was non existant. DON'T BUY SEARS MOWERS EXCEPT AS A LAST RESORT.
