I purchased this mower last summer from sears and am very pleased. No need to pull the rope to start. Has key start with fairly quick start. I bought this lawn mower last year and returned for another. I should have kept my money and bought another brand. the wheels do not stay in the same position, had to replace the drive wheel after one season. this lawn mower is very heavy and the drive wheels do not " Drive" this mower.

“This Craftsman is not worthy of its name. Prior model was better”

I Love Craftsman, everything!

This mower is the second in this size, I have owned. The bag is smaller. The hole that goes into the bag is smaller. This causes the grass to hang up, choking the engine and blade. This is a peticular problem, if the grass is even slightly damp. The other thing I found was the height adjustment levers, are very weak metal, that bends too easily. The rubber protectors do not stay in place. These are the "drawbacks".

On the plus side:

Love the key ignition! Holds charge well. Just like starting a car! Good strong transmission and engine..Excellent on gas "milage" Not...

“this thing takes a licking and keeps on ticking”

no complaints whatsoever...in fact i'm amazed I haven't broken this thing a million times the way i beat on it
