Gets the job done.

These plastic bases are necessary to use different size router bits, I just wish they were included with my Craftsman Professional router kit. If you buy a new router go ahead and buy these too, you will need them.

Fixed sub base kit

These plates work perfect on the 2hp /11amp soft start fixed and plunge router kit. All holes line up correctly.

Total Junk!

This jig combined with the Craftsman Professional Fixed Base Router (and required adapter plate, sold separately grrr) Due to the poor design and all plastic contruction of this jig combined with poor base design of the router, there is NO WAY to be able to make repeatable dovetails. (forget trying to make two in a row, a must for boxes, drawers, etc!) I've now spent at least 8 hours. working with this jig and have determined that the issues I had are NOT "operator error". If you like throwing away money, please buy this jig.

router base plates

The router base plates fit my craftsman router perfectly and I now have the added clearance that I need for my larger router bits.

terrible

I first bought the router and bit kit to work on a project only to find the base plate was too small for my larger bits. I then purchased the 6 pc fixed sub-base combo to accomidate the larger bits to find out the screws didn't match. I'm now at the point of returning everything.
