I got this on sale for $19.99 and, at that price, highly recommend this blower. I have never used an electric before, only gas, so I can't comment as to the improved performance possible with an electric with higher amperage. That said, this little blower has plenty of air volume (more CFM than a Toro Rake & Vac I was also considering that cost over double the price) and really does a great job cleaning up grass clippings and the like. I've also used it to blow out the dust and dirt from the garage, which it does easily and quickly.
Plus, with the lower amperage, there's less of a concern that...
review »I bought this product at our local mall after seeing it on Dealnews for $20 plus tax. The salesman had an end cap and he said that they were being snapped up quickly. This product is plug and play. Take it out of the box, attached the end nozzle, plug it into an extension cord, and turn on. It made short work of clearing leaves and pine needles off the drive way and back patio. This devise is not that loud which I like. Please be aware that blowers can be a disturbance to your neighbors. So use only when most people are out of bed.
Being Female blowing leaves is definitively not my favorite past time. But being alone, with my husband on an extended trip to another country for 2 long weeks. I became very frustrate by my two dogs dragging in the leaves from my back yard. The pile of which was getting higher and higher by the minute. My husbands leaf blower is fine but just a bit heavier then I'd like, especially with me having a sensitive back. I started using his but got tired real fast. Thought id check if sears had a lighter one that was easier to turn on, One that I could handle better. We already have a Craftsman...
review »...like there's no tomorrow! I got rid of my old one as it was too heavy and the blow tube kept falling off. This one is much more compact, powerful, ergonomic and the tube is snapped in place so it won't fall off. I also saw it on Dealnews for $20. At that price, it was a no brainer. And Sears has the very best on line service - bar none. No, I don't work for Sears. I do a lot of my shopping on line and these guys have it down pat.
So if you can find the blower for $20, don't even think about it - buy it.
I found this blower on Dealnews.com for $20 & thought how can I go wrong for $20? If I would have known what a great little blower it is I would have bought two. It is very lightweight, the nozzle is just the right length. Since I bought this the kids love cleaning up the leaves, & because of its weight they can handle it with no problem. It is also very handy to "sweep" the garage out with.
This electric blower is good for basic homeowner use. It will blow leaves and dirt with no problems. Just make sure you have a long enough extension cord. It uses a two prong electrical outlet.
I you are looking for an environment-friendly and affordable blower. This is a great option. Just keep in mind you may need to buy a long extension cord along with the blower.
