For $99, this thing is a bargain. It will not pick up every leaf, but it sure picks up most of them. the leaves have to be dry and not matted down, so if you use it after the leaves have been rained on a few times, and you want a perfectly clear lawn, you'll have to rake afterwards to get the stubborn ones that cling to the grass. I had to experiment with the height adjustment to maximize the leaf pickup. I would guess it gets 90% of the dry fluffy leaves with the first pass. It's easy to push and lightweight, so it's easy to empty. I found that using a tarp and dumping the leaves out onto the tarp, and then raking to get the rained on leaves, I was able to do a very thorough job, with less work than just raking.
