Craftsman 7 cu. ft. Push Lawn Sweeper —

I purchased this lawn sweeper to pick up grass clippings from my lawn. I have zoysia grass in the front yard and St. Augustine in the back yard. The lawn sweeper could not even be pushed through the zoysia grass because the wheels are too small and I keep the grass around 3" high. In the backyard, where the St. Augustine grass is cut much shorter, the sweeper did pick up clippings but only with tremendous manual effort needed to push it. The unit is built of cheap materials and could only be considered for the lightest of duties-say picking up fall leaves from a closely cropped lawn or from a sidewalk or driveway. The pickup bag is about as flimsy as a grocery store plastic bag and the steel tubing is very thin gauge and will bend easily. I returned the unit to the nearest Sears store for a full credit.
