The Universal wrench really grabs the head of the nut or bolt and it gives me the confidence to really crank on the torque if that is what the job requires.  No longer do I have to search the tool box for the six sided or the 16 point wrench, I go to the Universal and do the job.

Couple this with the...

I saw an ad for these wrenches and thought that the design was great.  I was working on my wife's car and picked up a pair to add to the collection of Craftsman wrenches I already had.  They worked great but unfortunately when I looked at them they had a nice CHINA on the back.  I didn't even think...

I have already had a chance to use my new wrench set. Great gripping power and nice feel. I think I'm going back to buy the ratcheting set to have around to work on my truck.

This set of wrenches were a great buy for the price. They are very durable and strong. We use them on a daily basis and they are awesome.

The Craftsman universal wrenches are a wonderful idea. The work on so many more kids of bolts to make your job easier.

These wrenches are built so that I can hand them down to my son and they will still work like no other. They grip and you can feel as though you really have control. The surface makes using them with greased hands easier then ever.

I was ready to buy them, walking toward the register, then realized that the Craftsman name on hand tools doesn't mean made in USA anymore... Had to put back two sets of wrenches and two dog-bone wrenches that were made in China also.

In a word this Wrench Set is Innovative. It's hard to believe this hasn't been thought of prior to now. So many times a standard box wrench doesn't fit a bolt or nut properly and it ends up stripping it. Not with this excellent new design! These Wrenches fit snuggly and fit many types of Bolts/Nuts. The finish on these Wrenches is also nice in the fact that they don't slip in your hands. Almost feels "tacky" to the touch. The only "con" I can think of is that they are made overseas. I would be willing to pay a bit more for these if they were made in the US by US workers!

heavy construction that gives you something to hold onto, this feature however makes the wrench wider and harder to get into tight spaces

Not the usual chrome, real nice finish. Great set, make sure you pick up both Metric & Inch sets. Worth the money if you can afford the racketing. Would highly recommend. Everything you need for a standart set. These have a real nice finish to them, love the way they look. They feel much more expensive than they actually are.

These wrenches worked great!!!!

I loved the way they looked!! Not the usual chrome but something different!! Nice finish too. Have not had one problem with them fitting nuts and bolts as advertised and has a tight fitting too.

Made in China, SO WHAT. Period. At $20 on sale (7 wrenches and the convenient case), you cant go wrong.

I'm not sure why others seem to have stated that they had to look thru used wrenches or that certain bolts only fit the box end properly.  My local Sears store has NEVER done this, and when I asked then stated they had the same EXACT warranty as the USA made tools.  This must be a local thing.  You may wish to check with your local SEARS store on their policy.

Other comments (from a Sears employee) stated the box end wrench only fits the "spline' bolts properly.  While true the spline makes...

continued Craftsman quality

I can get past the "Made in China" BS.  The tool is still Craftsman and it works.  Honestly, I find a lot of American products to be of questionable quality.  These wrenches fit well, they are easy to grip, feel sturdy.  I haven't used it on all the different bolts it claims to work on but I did successfully use it on a worn down bolt that we thought was a lost cause.  If the product is quality, I don't care where it is made.
