A pain to assemble but well worth the effort.

Assembly - Don't expect to assemble this thing in less than four hours unless you've done it before. Assembly is straightforward until you get to the fabric collection bag and the deck adapter. The bag will take at least an hour and the deck adapter about the same. Both will test your "patience". You must cut the plastic deck adapter to fit your mower deck. You only get one chance to get it right. The deck adapter templates are not perfect (not even for my Craftsmen mower), so I recommend cutting a cardboard box as a test first, then cut the real thing. Think of it like a haircut. You can always cut more off, but you can't put it back on once it's cut. The collection bag looks simple, but it's a pain to assemble and I recommend you have someone nearby that can assist with some of the assembly. Performance - I used the vac for the first time today. I have about an acre, a third of which is grass and the rest trees. Lots of leaves. I mowed all of the grass, including leaves, and only had to dump the cart three times. It does a nice job of mulching the leaves. The 5.5 hp engine is definitely big enough for the job. Lots of engine/impeller noise. Louder than my lawn tractor. Leaves today were a little damp from the rain but the vac sucked them right up. Maneuverability is limited since you're pulling a "train" behind you but easy to get used to. I ordered the optional extension hose for hard to reach places but I haven't received it yet. Bottom Line - Great yard tool. Would be nice if it could be assembled more easily. Fortunately, you only have to assemble it once. Once assembled, it performs very well. I would buy it again.
