2.5 acres and whatever is lawn has many many trees around it. Fall cleanup usually takes tarp after tarp full of leaves and dragging them off into the woods. With this sweeper it becomes a clean and thorough job. What I appreciate most is that it sucks up the acorns and hickory nuts that make it impossible to grow grass around the trees. Don't fool yourself it will still take some effort even with the sweeper. It is a beast of a machine and requires some setup and teardown for each use. You will also want a place to store it - it does take up some space. The only negative is with the attachment to the mower deck. Even with a near perfect cut using the provided template (a dremel tool works well to do this!) the fit is still a bit funky and cumbersome. You will need to remove the guard to attach the sweeper - this can be a MAJOR pain to reinstall the guard when you want to mow without the beast in tow (if you keep just the housing provided without the hose you will be eating your clippings as you mow - trust me).
