Edger blade wear

The blade is a normal wear part and is not expected to last forever. The less you hit hard objects such as concrete the longer it will last. The average cost of $5.50 each blade is very reasonable. The 3 blade design is better than 2 and does not cease up like a 2 blade does. I agree not stocking replacement parts in Sears stores is disappointing and makes you feel like the product is not being supported.

Wears quickly, but doesn't kick or damage concrete the way a hard steel blade would. I would be wary to substitue a double edge blade. Plus, Sear's price is competitive to other blades. New website also checks stock at nearby stores.

4 stars

While this blade does a good job, it wears out quickly - I go through a couple per season! Also, trying to find replacement blades is near impossible - in the past week, I've been to 3 separate Sears stores and have tried purchasing on-line - - - ALL with no luck. Disappointing in that respect. In store, the clerks cannot give an estimate of when shipment will arrive.

Edger-Trimmer Replacement Blade

These blades wear out way too fast. They need to be made with material that is more durable.

Great Blade

Love the job this blade does on my edger. Works great but if you have a lot of edging to do buy pleanty of replacement blades I use a two a season.
