I purchased this product this Fall for leaf cleanup and attached to a 24hp lawn mower. It worked well. It isn't cheap by any means which made me think twice about purchasing but it is the way to go. I purchased with the mesh bags to allow for better air flow through into the bagger and that worked fine.... review »

i recently bought bagger. the lower tube that fits on blade housing does not fit tight and snug. there is a 1x4 inch gap, which clippings fly out. try to get help at store and a sears pts. store in town, also several depts. on the phone to no avail. does anyone know if this the way it fits?

I also leary about the purchase, blow torch and improper fit. I had no problem with the assembly. Fit together well. When I used it for the first time my wife was looking out the window. She told me that she was laughing at me. Upon completion of leaf removal, I invited her outside to look at the great job this bagging system did. She said WOW, That thing is worth every penney. This bagger saved me a TON of time. Days of work reduced to a few hours. This is a great product. Be prepared to get a little dusty. Worth the money.

This bagger is the best.  It holds a large amount of clippings and is very easy to put on and take off.  Just go slow when the grass is either wet or a little taller than normal.  The heavier the debris the easier it is to clog the shoot.

I am very pleased.

This bagger is perfect for picking up leaves in the fall. It's the best money I ever spent. A few other reviewers were writing that the bagger was not fitting properly to the chute - they must have bought the wrong model bagger because mine fits perfect. Installation was less than 5 min. This thing picked up every single leaf as clean as a whistle. Also, some reviewers were writing that all three bins were not getting filled evenly, thats wrong too. I purchased the bagger attachment after going one season without it. Initially I rationalized the purchase to save time with leaves in the fall (I have a ton). However, when I received the bagger I decided to give it a test run with just grass and I was amazed how well it worked. I had to empty the three bins 2 times to complete the whole yard. I am eager to see how well this will work as a solution to raking leaves for 3-4 days. Why doesn't it fit?

I bought this bagger for my brand new tractor. There is a 1 1/2" gap where the bagger connects with the mower deck. This bagger cost me $350 for grass to shoot out all over my leg. How can they sell this bagger with a 1 1/2" gap? I will try once more then it goes back to the store! Tractor #28813

This was very easy to put together and attach to my tractor. My tractor is a Craftsman 2003 model so this works on older models as well. It is so much more convenient now to dethatch and mow at the same time since I use a bagger system. It saves time and gas!

I had a two bin hard plastic bagger before with my old lawn tractor. This soft bin holds so much more lawn clippings as they are able to compact themselves. Plus with the third bin I only have to stop and empty about a third of what I used to.

If you have a lot of leaves, this is a must have. It is very easy to attach to your lawn tractor. Taking off the 3 bins to dump the leaves/grass is easy and they have a handle on the bottom of them for easy dumping.

All around a great piece of equipment to have.  It arrived 2 days earlier than I expected and I had it installed within 30 minutes.  Assembly was extremely easy.  One person noted that they had a ¼ inch gap between their mower deck and lower assembly piece.  I had this happen as well when I first installed it, but with a little finesse it popped right into place with no gap.   I have a one acre yard and had to empty the bags twice but I think that was partly b/c I had 2 yrs worth of dead grass clippings hiding in my yard which it promptly sucked right up.  It picks up grass and leaves...

Works Great and Fits 10 Year Old Lawn Tractor

I've been wanting a bagger for a few years for my 10 year old Craftsman Lawn Tractor. This time, procrastination paid off! The mesh bins in this version (versus the hard bins) are great. The air-flow allows the grass to compact well, so the bags really fill nicely. I was a bit concerned whether this bagger would fit my older rider. It is not a perfect seal, but it is stable and does not drop any clippings. I clogged the chute once, but it was my fault for mowing too fast in slightly damp grass. I have used this 10 times now this year. This bagger is great. I love the Soft Bags as they are easier to lift and empty. The bagger was very easy to attach, and stays on well. The mower is still well balanced with it on. I originally bought the mower without the bagger...then finally gave in and bought this bagger. My lawn looks so much better now that I have the bagger! I am amazed at how well the clippings get picked up and how easy it is to empt.

I am finishing up my first full season of cutting with this product and couldn't be happier. After 12 years with a Simplicity bagger system that constantly clogged, this system is so much better. As long as you make sure to cut the grass when it's fairly dry, you shouldn't have any problems whatsoever. Another huge plus is how simple and quckly you can switch from bagless to bagged mowing, using simple bungee connectors on the chute components.

This bagger is perfect. I read some of the reviews for other baggers and was leary, but this was super easy to install, doesn't blow the clippings anywhere but in the bins, and is easy to unload. Wouldn't do without it.
