Craftsman 9 gal. Wet-Dry Vac, Tank Style, 4.0 Peak

Craftsman 9 gal. Wet-Dry Vac, Tank Style, 4.0 Peak hp —

We really like this shop vac. The following items separate it from the others we have had. One: it has bigger wheels so it will pull over rough cement and small bumps (even some grass) without tipping over. Two: The wheels are spread out as wide as possible to keep it steady when pulling it around with the vac. hose. Three: The canister/tank is shorter than most 9 Gal. Vac's, and larger in Diameter, to also keep it from tipping when you pull it with the vac hose. This stability is a big deal when you're bending down cleaning the floor and pulling the vac. along behind you. If it falls over it can be a mess and in any case it clogs the filter, and you have to stop, and clean it up. A unit that will pull along and not tip is a valuable unit; this 9 Gal. unit far exceeds the new one that it replaced (another venders shop vac). I doubt we will ever have a need to buy another Shop Vac. it is very well built. We previously had a Sears Shop Vac. and sold it because we thought we were going to move, we we did not move, so we bought an inferior cheap unit, we should have bought a Sears. We had the other Sears Shop Vac. for 25 years, and we could still get the replacement filter, pretty neat, wish we would have never sold it! The motor has a good strong vac. pull, it will suck in anything that does not fully block the hose inlet, we really like the pull strength. The pull strenght is better than both units we previously had. For a shop vac. this is a top class unit in our opinion.
