I was skeptical about purchasing seat at first since there was no floor model to view, so i took a chance on the Craftsman name and was satisfied once i assembled it at home.  At 250 lbs. i can't settle for cheaper quality seat just to save a dollar, product is very sturdy and rolls great around...

not for comfort

i guess it serves it's purpose, it is not very comfortable after 15 minutes or so but i didn't buy it as a lounge chair. If you garage floor is not smooth it will find every little crack. It will be fine for doing brake jobs and bleeding brakes and so on. But don't expect much for under $30.00

I use this seat to work in my garage and I even bought another one to use at my desk in my office. It's a great little seat, and versatile!

Fantastic product. I've been looking for a round seat with a variable height adjustment forever. Saw it, bought it, purchasing another. (of course for my son!)

So Far So Good..

Had it for about a year now and use everyday during the week. No problems so far. Everything is tight and solid. Perfect size. Not too big, not too small. Wheels could be a little bigger but it's not really a problem.

We got this 30$ Craftsman Mechanics Seat, the 80$ Mechanics Adj. Seat & the 25$ Roller Seat all at the same time. This little guy holds his own against his big brother pretty well for the difference in price. Smaller, and a little less stable with no locking wheels, but does its' job and is perfect for occasional home shop job.  More versatile then the Roller Seat for the extra five bucks

Easy to assemble, took about one minute, just what I needed. Great product!

Good value

Works for me for occasional use.  At this price, it is not constructed for every-day, industrial use.  Sears sells an alternative that would work for that.

When it's time to get off the tired knees and straighten the aching back (but the job isn't finished), my mini adjustable mechanic bar seat is a welcome relief! Providing support for my derriere and work tools, I can maneuver around easily on the 5 wheels and set the seat height just where I need to get the work finished.

Actually, I've quickly figured out that starting my task using the stool for support, instead of kneeling all the time, helps prevent my back and knee discomfort from setting in...Built in Ergonomics! It is light enough to be very portable, but solid enough to support my medium...

As always I was a little skeptical and the quality of this seat, but once it arrived,
I found that it was built better then expected.  Good quality, all around seat.
Serves me well in my garage,  that I bought a 2nd one....

For the Price.... it cant be Beat !!!

Have used a mechanics seat from Sam's Clug in my garage for ~2 years, along with an old roller chair.  Decided to buy a good mechanics seat, a Craftsman, and toss the old chair.

Never have I seen such a piece of pure junk from Sears!  Compared to the chinese-made ***************, it is about 2/3's the size, smaller wheels, tipsy, has a seat that's cheap, tiny and will be shot in 3 months.  It's definitely cheaper in every aspect. (AND EVEN WITH THE CRAFTSMAN CLUB DISCOUNT, MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE *********!)

I own thousands of dollars worth of Sears tools, and buy more monthly.  Usually I swear...

Pretty Nice

Bought for my wife to scoot around the house, she runs a daycare and it is just what she needed to keep on the same level with the kids and be comfortable

The craftsman mechanics seat is a lifesaver on your back and knees  when working on brakes and bearing ect. It is well built, rolls great  and the tool storage is  awesome.
