Great buy

I actually used this on my air ride setup for my vehicle. Filter is setup between the compressor and the tank. 150psi. No leaks! My other one (rated @ 165psi) leaked like crazy. This one is rated for 175psi(not stated in the add). It also comes w/ 2 brass fittings which bring from 3/8" to ...... read full review »

Most Helpful Critical Review
I bought this and used it for a year. Mine did not leak, and it did remove dirt and some moisture, but not all of it. To work as efficiently as possible, this should be installed just before the actual tool that you'll be using, NOT before the length of air hose. The problem with using this item, is... read full review »

The model 16008 compressor filter work great. I use my compressor and filter for almost evrything from oil change to complete paint job on my cars. I own a 30 gal compressor and additional 15 gal tank. The filter is mounted at the outlet of the smaller one. disappointed

I installed this filter on my Craftsman air tank. It appears that it leaks where the glass bowl meets the frame. I have re-seated it on several occasions and it still leaks. Haven't located a reason for the leak, other that the bowl seems to be slightly loose. Finally I may have gotten it seated. I will know in a few days if it still leaks. If so, I will exchange it and try one more before giving up on it.

Doesn't Work as Promised

This In-Line filter promised filtration of air and other particles. After much use with this on my compressor, I noticed it did filter out some debris that you could see, but it did not filter out the water. I experimented with different positions and I found that it has to completely verticle to work. At that point it filtered some moisture, but moisture was still coming out of the line. Unsatisfied with performance but for the price it is worth it to give it a try.
