The Craftsman Black Mechanics Utility Glove, Large/Xtra-Large is a poor expansion of the previously excellent Craftsman glove line. It is a true "utility" glove and doesn't feature hook and loop wrist adjustment or finger reinforcements of the earlier model gloves. The gloves run very small and size... read full review »

great!

I bought these for my fiance and he loves them. They fit his hands and are nice and flexible. The padded areas also help with support. They are a great quality and he has had them for awhile now and they have not worn out the least bit.

I really like the feel of these gloves. It feels like I don't even have any gloves on. Unlike typical leather work gloves or garden gloves, I am able to hold and use my tools without any interference.

I'm no mechanic but the gloves come in handy for just about any activity you need a piar of gloves for, IE: yard work, building projects, etc.

I bought a pair of these gloves in the "medium" size, for my son who was in a auto shop class in high school.  His hands are considerably smaller then mine.  My hands are not all that large in comparison to other men.  If I would have been buying them for myself; I would have purchased the large/Xtra-large size, since that is the size I normally find fits my hands.  Even with his small hands; the medium gloves are much to small and are showing signs of stretching stress with less than 6 months of light wear.

For ladies with small hands and slender fingers; the sizing on these gloves seems correct....

Worm & Fuzzy

I have these Gloves now for the past 3 Months, I work with them, I wash them, I put them through the ringer, and so far they are holding just fine. Great Products.

Great Gloves

These are great gloves. They are good for just about anything whether it's heavy duty grimy lifting, or just turning polished chrome wrenches, the gloves feel great on your hands and give you a God grip on whatever you grasp. My only problem with them is that going back and forth between filthy jobs and clean jobs become a problem. It's best to keep two sets of gloves, that way you hands always have protection no matter what the job. Personally, I can't seem to keep enough of them around, my co-workers apparently love them as much as I do. I haven't tried machine washing them before because I don't...

I like the fit, grip and motion of the glove. The only negative with the glove is that there isn't enough ventilation.

Best on the Market

Mechanix Wear Fast Fits used to be my "glove of choice." No longer.

These Craftsman gloves are better constructed and better fitting. The fingers are especially well done and I have the ability to do relatively fine work with them. They passed my "washer test," where I toss a 3/8-in flat washer onto the concrete floor and see how easily I can pick it up. First time, every time with the Craftman's.

I've been using the Craftsman gloves for two years now. I got 18 months out of the first pair using them two to four hours daily and easily 16 hours over the weekends. Because I go from desk work to manual...
